Flights subject to minimum passenger number of 2 (except Fly Me! Trial Flight, min 1 passenger).
Flight times and routes are subject to and may vary due to weather and volcanic activity.
Flights operate daily and on demand subject to weather conditions.
Major credit cards and EFTPOS accepted.
Children under 2 are free of charge; children aged 2 - 11 years pay a child's fare which is 75% of the adult fare, 12 years and older pay full adult fare, with the exception of the 5 minute flight and the Fly Me! Trial flight. Each child must be accompanied by a full fare paying adult; otherwise the full adult fare applies.
Please notify our bookings office if an individual passengers weight exceeds 110kgs (240lbs).
Passengers agree that flights are undertaken at their own risk and that Astral Helicopters Ltd, its employees and associates will not be held liable for any claim in respect of any incident relating to the flight or any association with Astral Helicopters Ltd, its employees and associates.
Cancellation policy:
All flights cancelled due to poor weather or visibility, are still valid and can be redeemed the next suitable flying day. If this is unsuitable for the passenger (tourist leaving town etc) then a full refund will be given.
The decision to fly due to weather conditions will be solely that of Astral Helicopters.
Bookings cancelled less than 7 days out will result in a cancellation fee of 30% of booking.
Cancellations of 24 hours or less will result in a 50% cancellation fee of entire booking. Complete no-shows for pre-booked flights will forfeit the booking cost.
No cancellation fee is required if the flight is cancelled by Astral Helicopters due weather or volcanic activity.
In the event of Astral Helicopters failure to uphold a confirmed flight booking, the client will have premium preference for the next available flight suitable to them.
A flight booking is deemed confirmed if we receive validation from the client verbally, or in writing or if the flight is pre-paid.
If a client arrives at a flight booking intoxicated, visibly unwell or is deemed unfit to fly, Astral Helicopters reserve the right to cancel the flight and all cancellation fees will be at their sole discretion.
If a flight is undertaken and is required to return due to weather or other factors a pro-rata refund will be given for that portion of the flight not completed.
