Helicopter Training - Student Withdrawals

Astral Helicopters Ltd reserves the right to terminate a students tuition:

In the case of a course refund any fees paid in advance will be held in the Astral Helicopters Ltd Trust Account for the duration of the withdrawal period in accordance with Section 236A of the Education Act 1989.
If a New Zealand Citizen or Resident student who is studying with the assistance of a New Zealand Government student loan fails to complete the course, the remaining balance shall be repaid to the Inland Revenue Department.
Students will be given the right to appeal any decision made by Astral Helicopters Ltd. Decisions will be based on all evidence and information supplied.

NOTE: Astral Helicopters Ltd is required to notify The NZ Immigration Service when an international student withdraws.

Astral Helicopters Ltd is a signatory to the Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students.

The course is approved by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority under the provisions of the Education Act 1989, and Astral Helicopters Ltd is accredited to teach it.

Astral Helicopters Ltd is registered by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority as a Private Training Establishment under the provisions of the Education Act 1989 and its subsequent amendments.
