Helicopter trainee instructor

Astral Helicopters currently has an opportunity for a new trainee instructor.

A candidate who begins their initial helicopter flight training with us and continues through to their C Cat instructor rating will receive 100 hours of paid flight instructing time upon the successful completion of their course.

They will then have the opportunity to consolidate their instructing on basic flight training duties, under the watchful eye of one of our senior instructors.

The candidate must complete all the required helicopter pilot flight training with Astral Helicopters within 12 months of commencing the course.

This is a strictly limited offer and is subject to an initial interview with our Chief Flying Instructor*.

Job Assistance Programme!

Astral Helicopters leads the industry once more with our Job Assistance Programme, designed to help transition graduates into work upon completion of the CPL course.

Train with us to your Commercial Pilots Licence and we will do our best to assist you in finding your first flying job.

Astral Helicopters students are guided through their training programme to develop the skills and specific commercial operational experience, and are introduced to our domestic and international contacts to help gain employment upon course completion.

And because of the high level of NZQA accreditation of Astral Helicopters CPL course,
international students will be entitled to apply for a further 12 month Job Search Visa upon course completion.

Astral Helicopters does not guarantee employment, but to date all of our CPL graduates have achieved flying jobs!
